Why Dog Days?

Socialization is guided and supervised

At Dog Days, we are staffed 24 hours and your dog will experience constant care and supervision from loving, skilled, and experienced handlers.  Our team is knowledgeable and passionate in teaching dogs how to “dog” in an interactive and relationship-based way. This is not a place to mindlessly run around, as we are focused on direct and appropriate social interactions while reinforcing appropriate manners.

Exercise is essential

Why are so many of our clients under 3 years of age?  Because during this time, dogs are beginning to learn their manners (some at a slower pace than others!) and experiencing a huge surge in mental and physical growth that has them curious about life with boundless energy to spare.  Give them a structured environment with like-minded peers and supervision from loving handlers to burn that energy in a constructive way. Enjoy coming home to a dog tired from physical exertion, but also happily fulfilled from hours of mental and social development!

we talk dog!

Interpreting canine behavior for dog owners is an integral part of our customer service and we love to help you puzzle out what makes your dog tick!  You may be surprised to hear about aspects of your dog’s personality that might not have blossomed until they were in a structured pack environment with professional and experienced dog handlers. Seeing our clients reach their full potential and form lasting bonds with their friends and teachers, canine and human alike, is an incredible part of the daycare experience that we love to share with owners!

YOUR DOG’S HEALTH COMES FIRST

When your dog is healthy and feeling great, we can tell.  Our entire business model is based around dogs that are both happy and healthy. That’s why we examine every single dog in our care daily during our Wellness Checks.  Poor health from food intolerances, environmental allergies, obesity, overgrown nails, dental disease, and more, will affect your dog’s ability to enjoy daycare to the fullest and may even affect their personality.  That’s why we take a holistic approach to the care of our dogs, with nutritional counseling, grooming recommendations, and just being a second set of eyes to help puppy parents, especially the first timers, keep their dogs feeling their best!

We become family.

The love for our dog customers translates to a love for our human customers.  The quality of life for today’s pet dog has skyrocketed, and it takes a village now to ensure the happiness of our pets.  Together, you and Dog Days are that village.

Happy dogs, happy life. It's what we strive for.
