Treat Times

Treat Times offer food-based enrichment activities in a variety of forms to best suit each dog’s preferences. If you would like to sign up for a Treat Time, just let us know, and your dog will get some bonus one-on-one time and up to 10 minutes solo to enjoy their special treat. Can be added to an owner provided lunch or given as a standalone snack! Choose one or more of the following:

 
 

BOWL BOOSTS 

 
 

A frozen, crunchable treat of blended doggy superfoods and healthfood supplements. 

 

  • DIGESTIVE BOOST 

Made from fermented raw goat's milk and Slippery Elm (nature’s tummy soothing ingredient). Slippery Elm is great for providing quick-acting relief and extra fiber for occasional digestive upsets, like soft stools and inflamed systems. Fermented raw goat’s milk is a great source of low-lactose, high-probiotic calories suitable for dogs, while also making for a creamy, irresistible treat! (Because Slippery Elm lubricates the digestive tract, it should be given at least 2 hours before or after any medication.)

 

  • JOINT BOOST 

A fermented raw goat’s milk base with anti-inflammatory turmeric and Herbsmith’s proprietary blend of mulberry twig, kadsura stem, angelica tang kuei, notopterygium root, pubescent angelica root, gentiana macrophylla root, frankincense, inula, achyranthes root, ligusticum root, cinnamon bark, honey-fried licorice root.  Can relieve occasional stiffness and soreness, especially in older pups or younger dogs with early signs of arthritis. Includes a smidge of slippery elm for texture.

 

  • CALMING BOOST 

A fermented raw goat’s milk base with immune boosting Spirulina and Herbsmith's "immediate calming" supplement: July Third. Intended for soothing and calming during times of stress by using the following herbs, B vitamins, and amino acids: Chamomile, Tryptophan, Passion Flower, Thiamine Monohydrate, Magnesium, Valerian. Includes a smidge of slippery elm for texture!

(Inactive Ingredients: rice flour, sun flower lecithin, rice bran, flax seed, oat groats, vegetable glycerin, salmon meal, cod liver oil, fruit juice, natural grain dextrin, sorbic acid, brewers yeast, vegetable oil)

 

**Our Bowl Boosts are intended to provide treat-based additional enrichment for your dog’s time with us - for fun only! While they contain ingredients claimed or with published studies for potential health benefits for dogs, they are not a substitute for veterinary treatment or medication.

LICK PUZZLES

 
 

An enrichment activity that fulfills your dog's natural instinct to lick and forage and results in their brains releasing endorphins and dopamine. This makes them feel calm, happy, and relaxed! Lick puzzles are a little easier than the stuffed kongs and more motivating for those dogs that want things served on a silver platter to them. A whipped goat milk base with all-natural peanut butter and crunchy tripe treats hidden throughout. Menu may change seasonally, so please remind a team member if your dog has food allergies or sensitivities! 

STUFFED KONGS

An enrichment activity that fulfills your dog's natural instinct to lick and forage and results in their brains releasing endorphins and dopamine. This makes them feel calm, happy, and relaxed! Stuffed kongs are a little more challenging for the super food-motivated or enrichment puzzle pros. A whipped goat milk base with all-natural peanut butter and crunchy tripe treats hidden throughout. Menu may change seasonally, so please remind a team member if your dog has food allergies or sensitivities!

 

**All Treat Times can only be provided by owner request and with confirmation that your dog is comfortable with 5-10 minutes of unsupervised, solo enjoyment time to appropriately consume only the edible parts of the enrichment item. To reduce the risk of a blockage, please don’t schedule Stuffed Kongs or Lick Puzzles for those dogs with Godzilla jaws that like to eat toys whole!
